When using the tapes duct tape, colored duct tape, and electrical tape, I believe that the electrical tape will break when put under five hundred grams of weight.

Background Research
My research was not based on the experiment but based on the tapes themselves. The reason I did that was because you can't do much research on records of what tape has been able to do, but you can research on how it came to be.
History Of Tape
During World War II, there was a need for strong, flexible, waterproof tape that could repair anything our boys overseas needed. The company Johnson and Johnson took the task. Using medical tape as a base they then applied a cloth backing therefore it could be flexible to any task it had. They shipped all of their productions overseas and Duct Tape was born. It then earned the nickname “Duck Tape” because it was waterproof. For that the tape enterprise progressed to what we have today.
Electrical Tape was in 1946 just after the war. It was designed to insulate any electrical wire. But now it is used for repairing wires and even arts and decorations. Today electrical tape is a must have on any electrical job in the electronics industry. Because of the unpredictable hazards that can happen, it is now required that they have a roll of electrical tape on the job site. This happened because in 1997 a man was working on a loose wire and he received a high powered shock which almost cost him his life. His family was furious and so they had a movement to have it passed to have electrical tape on the job site. These tapes have been an important part of the history of America. We use these tapes, sometimes daily, without even thinking about how they came to be. I believe that knowing where household items came from is important, because it makes you think about what things have been through.
